The mission of the Academy of Tango Texas is to preserve, study, and celebrate the rich cultural, musical, and social heritage of Argentine tango, and to make this UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage accessible to diverse Texas communities through high-quality educational seminars, archival appreciation, community workshops, and cross-cultural public arts initiatives.
